Wells Fargo Championship Tickets Go On Sale Wednesday, November 15

PGA TOUR Returns to Charlotte & Quail Hollow Club

Starting this Wednesday, November 15, tickets go on sale for the Wells Fargo Championship scheduled for April 30-May 6 at Quail Hollow Club.

The Wells Fargo Championship, celebrating its 16th year, is not only one of the premier golf events in North Carolina region, but also in the world. Since 2003, Quail Hollow Club has welcomed all of the world's top 25 players and the tournament's list of champions is consistently considered among golf's elite.

This year, Brian Harman sank a 28-foot birdie putt on the final hole to defeat World No.1 Dustin Johnson and TOUR veteran Pat Perez by one stroke at Eagle Point Golf Club in Wilmington, NC, where the tournament was staged for one year as Quail Hollow Club hosted the PGA Championship. Past champions are: 2003 David Toms, 2004 Joey Sindelar, 2005 Vijay Singh, 2006 Jim Furyk, 2007 Tiger Woods, 2008 Anthony Kim, 2009 Sean O'Hair, 2010 Rory McIlroy, 2011 Lucas Glover, 2012 Rickie Fowler, 2013 Derek Ernst, 2014 J.B. Holmes, 2015 Rory McIlroy and 2016 Harman.

Six of the tournament's 14 champions have earned major championship titles and three champions have held the No.1 spot in the Official World Golf Rankings since the tournament's inception in 2003.

Grounds ticket prices start with $35 Practice Pack, which consist of three individual daily tickets for Monday through Wednesday. Also popular is the $175 Weekly Ticket Book, which represents a $110 savings from individual daily purchases. Through the years, many fans have found the Weekly Book to be a great gift. All ticket prices include sales tax, parking and shuttle fees from tournament authorized lots.

Champions for Education, a non-profit host organization, supported by the tournament, has distributed over $20 million and raised awareness for numerous charitable foundations in Charlotte and Wilmington since 2003.

Grounds ticket options include:

Weekly Book - $175 — Includes admission to all seven days of the tournament and represents a savings of $110. The same individual does not have to use the ticket each day, allowing family members, friends and business associates to share the experience of the event.

Practice Pack - $35 — Consists of individual daily tickets for Monday’s Pro-Am, Tuesday’s practice round and the popular Wednesday Pro-Am (price includes all three days and fans are permitted to bring cameras during these days)

Thursday Individual Daily Ticket — $55 each.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday Individual Daily Tickets — $65 each.
