Children Ages 17 and Under Now Admitted Free
Must Be Accompanied with Ticketed Adult
Charlotte, NC, February 13, 2020—Officials with the Wells Fargo Championship announced today that children ages 17 and under will receive free grounds tickets when accompanied by a ticketed adult for the April 27-May 3 PGA TOUR event at Quail Hollow Club.
For the past 17 years, children ages 12 and under were admitted free of cost.
“In an effort to grow the game of golf and better-accommodate the sports fans in this region, our title sponsor Wells Fargo and the operating committee, felt it is time to move the age limit higher,” said Gary Sobba, Wells Fargo Championship Tournament Director. “This is also a spring time family event and we want to encourage families to spend time together at the Wells Fargo Championship.”
Grounds ticket prices start with the $35 Practice Pack, which consist of three individual daily tickets for Monday through Wednesday. Also popular is the $175 Weekly Grounds Pass, which represents a $110 savings from practice pack and individual daily purchases.
