The First Tee uses Donation to Provide Safe and Positive Experiences

The Wells Fargo Championship has been a supporter of The First Tee and its programs on an annual basis. This year, through a sizable donation, the Tournament is proud to continue that relationship.

The goal of The First Tee is to build game changers and that impact goes beyond its programs on the golf course.

By seamlessly integrating the game of golf with a life skills curriculum, First Tee impacts the lives of young people and their families by providing educational programs for youth that builds inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience that kids can carry through to everything they do.

This donation allows The First Tee to purchase updated equipment, host fun-filled events, and also helps provide participants with experiences they may not have gotten otherwise. In particular, the donations from the Wells Fargo Championship have allowed First Tee to send some of its older participants to various opportunities around the country, allowing the organization’s teaching of life skills and core values to be presented to participants in fun and exciting ways.
